Judges 6:14 The LORD turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand. Am I not sending you?"15 "But Lord , " Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family."16 The LORD answered, "I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together."
There's a gentle tug in our heart when God calls us to lead. But sometimes we are nearsighted, focused on our limits, our ears hearing voices from the past--You come from humble beginnings. You have no business doing that. Who will listen to you? How can you lead when you're such a sinner? Black sheep.
Yet God persists in calling you to lead in your family, workplace and church. Focus on His promises to strike down negative thoughts, low self-esteem and communication barriers. Trust His promise of victory when the problems and crises arrive.
Today, adopt God's point of view. See yourself through His eyes and expect to lead and do great things for Him.
