Confirm God's Call

^{Judges 6:17} Gideon replied, "If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign that it is really you talking to me."

How do you confirm God's call to lead? First, read God's word on a daily basis. He won't tell you something that contradicts His Word. Second, pray for wisdom and ask for confirmation. God will do this through a verse, a preaching, a vision or a timely word from a friend. Third, ask godly people for advice. An objective perspective can enlighten and give us a sober view of reality.
