Place Your Bet

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

We're all betting our lives on something, hoping and expecting victory. What are you betting your life on? Is it on something you can see?

Are you risking your life for money and success? Will these bring you joy? What happens when you die? Will you be able to take money and success to the grave?

Are you placing your bet on relationships? Relationships can be fulfilling because they give us a sense of purpose and joy. But what happens when we put people at the center of our lives rather than God? What happens when these people leave or die?

Or are you placing your bet on Jesus? The only one who can give you pure joy on this earth and eternal life after. He also promises to nourish our relationships and prosper us.

Today, place your bet on Jesus. Win.
